I was a fortune teller this year.

Rivers was Hermione (of course) and really resembled her.

Filtering the good stuff - sooooo delicious!
We made strawberry jam, salsa, and blackberry applesauce along with the honey and lots of dried pears.

Carlos read "Born to Run" and actually asked me several times if we could go running together, which was my dream come true. I had fun showing him all the incredibly beautiful, fun places to run around here and CD rode his bike with us.

Reagan's hair is long enough for french braids
The kids are opening up beans that grew too big and they're standing infront of the broccoli. I had to put this picture in because Dreyton would go up with his hands behind his back and just take a bite out of the broccoli while it was still on the stalk growing.

These two turkeys are always climbing something together and looking so cute that it's hard to get mad at their schemes.
I love how Rivers hair naturally goes into these perfect springy ringlets when it's humid here.
Dreyton is so nice and patient with Reagan. Here he is being a gentleman and feeding her his apple.
Little Diva in her legwarmers.
having fun at a home high school football game watching Daddy coach
Pumpkin patch time! We went with Dwight's preschool out to a great pumpkin patch. There's Carlos and CD searching the patch for the best one.We rode on that tractor pulled thingy in the background way out into the patch.
Then played on the haystacks and maze after eating homemade doughnuts and cider.
The kids love to help me do everything - even take the garbage down the lane.
The twins just looked at each other and laughed and laughed when I set them up on these huge rolls of hay and fought me when I made them get down.
The twins both love just munching on a raw bunch of broccoli. This bunch of broccoli was from Davis farms and is as big as his head.

Apple pear time again. It was a sad day when the tree ran out and the babes stood under it reaching up saying "apple, apple!" and they didn't understand that they were all gone.
Reagan was always bringing me the apple picker to pluck fruit for her.
Rivers off to school looking way too old and sassy (even though she's really not sassy).
We went to kids day for conservation again and the dirt babies grew hair (grass) so quickly this year that the kids decided to give them a haircut.
Our miracle babes happy and healthy at birthday #2. Wow this year went fast. It feels like I was just saying that for birthday #1. I love these kiddos so crazy much.
To celebrate, we all went out to a hippy joint for breakfast. I had beet, sweet potato, and zucchini pancakes. Then we headed to The Toy Factory to play in their back room. I love Reagy's little shoulders:)
Then we walked a couple blocks to the waterfront to eat cupcakes and open presents.
The crew. Reagan would not look away from all the M&M's on the cupcakes.
The favorite present was this shopping cart. Dre is sitting where the doll is supposed to sit and Reagan is zipping him around. Looked funny in person.
I also refurbished this table that has been in the barn since the Bushnell kids outgrew it, so the twins finally have their own spot.
Here's part of the Timberhill Harriers cross-country crew. Diana and I took our team of about 15 kids twice a week out to explore the trails at different places every time for 6 weeks. Rivers LOVED it. We're so lucky to have so many trailheads in the area. We never went to the same place twice and we still didn't get to take them to all the great running spots. It was so rewarding to be running behind a line full of kids winding through the lush forest trails while they laughed, and hollered because they were having so much fun and their brains and lungs were overloaded with pure oxygen and their flushed faces were so excited that they had just run over 2 miles!

Mmmmm.......Muscle Milk.
Dreyton always keeps us laughing. I heard the hairdryer go on and found him styling his hair.
This video clip shows why I love being a Mom of twins.
